Valeco Recruitment are working with our client who are a recognised organisation with a global presence who are seeking to recruit a permanent full time Operations Manager to report directly into the Chief Executive.

As Operations Manager your focus will be to champion, review and continuously develop the governance, quality framework, HR governance and health & safety management for both sites.

You will be joining the Senior Management Team and responsible for the smooth and safe running of both establishments you are responsible for.

What will this role involve?

• Building up key relationships internally and working in partnership with the Senior Management Team, Heads of Department, Quality Assurance, HR, Governance Groups

• Management including the team based in Ireland ensuring all management roles are covered including holidays/sickness

• Overseeing document management control of Quality Assurance

• Develop, coordinate and present evidence from and for inspections with government industry bodies

• Supervising incident reporting systems identifying trends and communicating with the appropriate management

• Compliance with GDPR

• Develop systems and processes

• Prepare reports and reviews including risk management and ISO

• Compliance

• Assisting the CEO in development and business improvement

• Develop the audit strategy

• Promoting and leading the development of the companies HR programme, policies, and best practice

• Maintain comprehensive staff records always

• Working on the creation of budgets

• Accountability for expenditure

• Health and safety risk assessments

• Deputise for the CEO when required along with many other key duties and responsibilities.

What are we seeking for you to be selected for this vacancy?

• Previous experience in a similar position

• Background in people management

• First class written and interpersonal skills for partnership working and staff governance

• Being able to work efficiently as a team member and team leader

• Able to work on your own and manage your own workload and deadlines

• Calm and positive influence

• MS Office Suite – intermediate

• Record of accomplishment in delivering services

• Ideally you will have worked in Nursing or Healthcare however we will consider other industries

The Offer?

• Basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000

• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm with a degree of flexibility

• Home working when appropriate
